Fedai platform performs its first flight

Various versions of the Fedai, which was created in cooperation with Turkish defense industry companies, capable of launching from single and multiple launch systems is being showcased as part of SAHA Expo, a major Turkish defense event.

Transvaro Executive Board Member Güray Ali Yaşam told Anadolu Agency (AA) that they kept the platform on which they made their first flight and exhibited it at the fair, shortly after Fedai works came to the fore.

Stressing that Fedai has received strong foreign demand in this short period of time and they are making preparations to meet these demands, "We started to produce the Fedai from carbon. The first 10 vehicles are out of mass production. There is more demand for the multi-launch version that is installed on the vehicle. We have prepared this model. We offer to the world market a concept in the form of a truck with three launch systems, one command control, one radar, jammer and thermal camera systems in a team of five vehicles," he said. Canlı said they plan to have the first Fedai's ready for delivery in January-February 2022. Explaining that they are aiming to meet the received orders with a certain capacity, Canlı made the following evaluations:

"Tek başına Fedai yetmez. DROKA, yani "Drone Killer" olarak bilinen bir sistemin tamamını satıyoruz. Bunun içinde termal kameradan radara, jammer'dan diğer ünitelere kadar bir çok sistem var. Radarlarda ve elektronik aksamlarda kullanılan entegre devre üretim sıkıntısı termal kameralarda kullanılan germanyumun fiyatlarını %50'ye varan oranlarda artırdı.Yozgat ili merkezinde sadece Fedai üretmek için ayrı bir radar fabrikamız var.Onu erken açacağız. Yeni yılda Fedai ürettiğimiz kadar radar, elektro-optik elbise, jammer ve bunun için gerekli diğer üniteleri de üretmemiz gerekiyor.Bunlarla ilgili düzenlemelerimiz devam ediyor.Elektronik kısıtlamalar ve tedarik ile de uğraşmaya çalışıyoruz. zorluklara kendi içimizde çözümler bulmaya çalışıyoruz."
